him upon an accounting of a partnership in which the two engaged in the business of buying, feeding, and marketing cattle.
Gray denied any debt; set up a somewhat detailed account showing: Partnership costs and expenses $144,053.16 Less total income 115,650.96 Net loss $28,402.20 Of the said loss he admits that
plaintiff Stevens bore the sum of $9,340.76 but claims that he bore the balance of $19,061.44 and that Stevens should be compelled
to pay defendant Gray one-half of the difference between these sums, that is $4,860.34, for which he counterclaims.
